The Pre-Marriage Course Online
In the Pre-Marriage Course, you and your partner will take a couples’ survey, share with one another during five video-led sessions, and finish with a guided conversations around the responses you gave to the couples’ survey.
Each of the video sessions lasts for 1 hour 35 minutes, half of which will be for your conversations. We encourage you to complete each session in one sitting, and to set a regular time aside each week to complete a session.

How does it work?
1. Register.
Complete the registration form. Be sure to include all of your partner’s information. After you register you will receive an email with a link to the couples’ survey. You each complete this independently (ideally, prior to the start of the course).
2. Order course journals.
You’ll both need a course journal. There are several ways you can get these. We’ll provide PDFs of each session that you can download and print. Or, if you live within 25 miles of San Lorenzo, California, we’ll deliver two journals to you for free. Or finally, if you like, you can order journals online.
3. Pick a weekly day and time with your partner.
The course is scheduled to start on a Friday, but you and your partner get to choose which day of the week to set your date night. On Thursday, you’ll receive a link to the video, which you can use any time. We recommend making this a regular date night. Don’t forget the candles, snacks, and drinks. Try to make it feel as special as possible.
4. Stick with it!
Plan to watch one video per week. If you miss a week due to illness or schedule conflicts, that’s okay. Just keep setting up your date nights and watch the videos in order. The video links sent to you will work for at least 2 months after you’ve received them.
5. Finish with personalized support.
Toward the end of the course, one of our trained and vetted support couples will contact you. These are couples who have been through The Marriage Course and received extra training to help couples like yourself explore the results of the couples’ survey. If you live close enough, you may be invited to meet face-to-face for this final session. If distance of schedule preclude meeting in person, this session can be done via video.
