What is The Marriage Course?

The Marriage Course is a series of seven sessions, designed to help couples invest in their relationship and build a strong marriage. It’s entirely online, with couples working through it at their own pace.

Whether you’ve been married six months or 40 years, whether you’re in a good place or struggling, The Marriage Course offers practical support to strengthen your relationship.

    What is The Pre-Marriage Course?

    The Pre-Marriage Course is an opportunity for you to invest in your relationship through five video-supported date night conversations. You are given access to a new video each week and choose which night you will watch and converse with your partner.

    When is the next course?

    Our next courses (both Marriage and Pre-Marriage) will kick off together with a Couples’ Banquet on June 21, hosted at Calvary Lutheran Church in San Lorenzo, California. This date night event will encourage you as a couple, equip you with everything you need to successfully navigate your course and conversations at home, and introduce you to local resources available along the way.

    What can we expect?

    1. Time to Connect

    We suggest setting a romantic date night atmosphere. Light a candle in the room where you are meeting. Gather a few special drinks or snacks to share together. 

    2. Watch Episode

    The entire night is around 1 hour and 55 minutes with around 45 minutes for the talks and breaks for conversations. Each episode explores a different topic through real experiences, expert insights, and relevant teaching.

    3. Talk Privately

    Providing space for couples to have private, intimate conversations is a must for every course. It helps enable couples to engage openly and honestly throughout the session.
